Group Classes & Workshops
Practice skills, build reliability, and gain confidence — with guidance and support.Â
What Group Training Is Designed to Do
Group classes and workshops exist to help training move out of your living room and into real life. This is where skills are practiced around distractions, routines are reinforced, and confidence grows through repetition and feedback.
These sessions aren’t about perfection or comparison. They’re about learning how to apply foundational skills in everyday situations — calmly, consistently, and with support.
When Group Classes Are a Good Fit
Group training works best when you already have some foundational understanding in place and are ready to practice skills with guidance. These sessions are designed to strengthen handling, improve reliability, and build confidence around distractions — not to teach training concepts from the ground up.
Many clients join group classes after completing Canine Core Foundations, while others use workshops to reinforce specific skills once a foundation is in place.
How Group Classes Are Structured
Group classes are intentionally structured by skill level to keep sessions calm, productive, and supportive. Foundational group sessions are designed for teams building confidence, consistency, and basic reliability, while advanced group classes are reserved for current clients who are refining skills and practicing real-world application.
This separation allows each group to move at an appropriate pace, reduces unnecessary stress, and ensures that both dogs and handlers can stay focused and successful. By keeping expectations clear and groups intentional, training remains practical, supportive, and effective for everyone involved.
How Workshops Are Different
Workshops are short, focused sessions designed to address a specific skill or theme. They allow you to practice intentionally, ask questions, and refine technique without committing to a long series of classes.
Workshops are especially helpful if you want targeted support, a refresher on a particular skill, or guided practice in a new environment.
What to Expect in a Session
Group classes and workshops are structured, supportive, and intentionally paced. You’ll receive clear instruction, time to practice, and feedback to help you adjust in real time. The goal is not to overwhelm you or your dog, but to build reliability through calm repetition.
Each session is designed to support progress while respecting where both you and your dog are in the learning process.
How This Fits Into the Bigger Training Picture
Group training is often the next step after building strong foundations at home. Practicing in a group setting helps skills generalize, strengthens communication, and prepares you for real-world situations where distractions are unavoidable.
Some clients continue with group classes long-term, while others use them as a bridge before or alongside in-person training. There’s no single “right” path — only what supports steady progress.
Current & Upcoming Classes
Group classes and workshops are offered at scheduled times throughout the year. Availability varies based on location, class focus, and group size. Because class focus, location, and group size rotate throughout the year, current availability is kept on a separate scheduling page to ensure information stays accurate and up to date.
