What can you expect when you book a private in-person class?

We typically offer in-person classes in the Carson Valley area and can train either at your home or at a pet-friendly central location. The difference between us and regular dog trainers is immediately apparent: we bring a wealth of professional experience to your session, addressing your goals, designing training plans and helping you understand and communicate better with your dog.  Our goal is to teach you how to speak "dog" and we take great pride in our stellar reviews and awesome local reputation. 

Customized! 

You and your dog deserve personalized training, and that's what we give you! We use the most modern, scientific-backed styles of training to provide a balanced, humane learning experience for you and your dog! We are experienced using tools, all philosophies and techniques in the modern training arena, and most importantly, care about giving you the individualized attention you and your dog deserve!

Teamwork!

We want you and your dog to be besties, teammates and battle buddies! That starts with trust, friendship and mutual respect.  

We also encourage teamwork between you and your spouse, your family and friends, and anyone who might work with your dog, so consistency and clarity are key!

Support!

You aren't taught and forgotten! You can reach us via text or email between training sessions and can even add in Club Doghouse for extra support! We love what we do, and there's no such thing as a silly question! No one is born knowing how to train, and we are here for you each step of the way! As service dog trainers, we've seen it all, so you and your dog are in good hands through all stages of training!

Pricing

For puppies under 4 months of age, rescues or dogs with behavioral challenges such as resource guarding, leash reactivity or fear, your first session will run 2 hours in length, typically held in the comfort of your home, and is $225. 

For dogs over 4 months of age, your first session will run 1.5 hrs and be $175.

After your initial session, all subsequent training is 1 hr in length and $100. 

We do not charge you more money for bringing two or more dogs to a session, or for having your family attend! We accept cash, check, Venmo and Zelle.

Location

We are based out of Carson City, NV, and often work with neighboring areas, such as Minden, Gardnerville, Incline Village, Dayton and South Reno. We love working with you and your dog in your home environment but can also meet you either at our own home or at a pet friendly centralized location. 

We also offer Google Meets sessions, and an online training membership with extensive courses and weekly lessons, so if you live outside of our area, let us know!

We train service dogs and family pets!

 

We specialize in raising and training service dogs for mobility aid, medical alert and response and PTSD related tasks. We are experts in temperament testing, desensitizing, public access training and task work, and offer numerous opportunities for owner trainers, including seminars, bootcamps, structured training programs and the VIP tier of our online training membership program designed specifically for service dogs. 

We also offer puppy and family dog training, including safe socialization, basic and advanced obedience, pet friendly public access, Canine Good Citizen test preparation, therapy dog classes and fear and leash reactivity training. 

We do not offer training for human-aggressive dogs due to our business insurance.
