    Hi, we’re Kendall and Chandler Brown, the trainers behind Custom K-9 Service Dogs — and the heart and soul of Club Doghouse.

    We’ve spent over a decade training service dogs, working with families, and helping dog owners feel confident, connected, and calm with their pups. Our passion is giving people the tools to not just “fix problems,” but to build a relationship with their dog that lasts a lifetime.

    Together, we own and operate Custom K-9 Service Dogs, where we raise and train fully qualified service dogs and offer in-person obedience training to a national clientele. We also offer a self-paced online video course for dog owners who prefer to train at home, on their own schedule — no matter where they live.

    We created Club Doghouse as a space for our training graduates and long-time clients who want to keep growing, stay connected, and keep their dog’s training sharp — without starting over or feeling lost.

     Kendall is also the award-winning author of 10 Secrets of a Lazy Dog Trainer and Let’s Get a Dog!, with a heartfelt memoir collection on the way called Life on Paws. When she’s not writing, she’s coaching clients, filming training videos, or sipping an Elijah Craig 1789, neat.

     Chandler is an officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. When he isn’t commanding companies, he works full-time alongside Kendall, training dogs, leading group classes, and bringing both discipline and calm energy to the pack. He’s known for his patience, clear instruction, and quiet leadership — both in uniform and in the field.  In his spare time he enjoys sharing an Uncle Nearest 1884, with his dog Boomer.
